Title: Demonic Attack
Post by: Bronzesnake on February 22, 2006, 02:07:44 PM
 Hello my friends.
I have a serious problem that I'm dealing with.
A very dear friend of mine who I have known for over twenty years is under demonic attack.

"Dave" knows I am a Bible believing Christian, and yet he keeps sending me these web addresses which lead to new age healers and things of tha nature. Whenever I try to guide him away from that stuff and point him toward Jesus he gets angry and accuses me of being intollerant of people's religions and he says Christianity is exclusive! ::)

I should probably write the guy off because he is adament in his new age religion, but I love him like a brother, and I seriously believe he is posessed.

Dave needs some serious and intense prayer help, and I have come to you in order to get that for him.

Please pray to our Holy, Heavenly Father to release dave, and indwell Dave with His Holy, Miraculous power of love and healing.

I have a series of e-mail exchanges between Dave and I which will give you a really good insight into exactly what's going on.

I am tired from the spiritual battle I have been fighting with Dave. I can not sleep for praying to God and thinking about what else to do for Dave. I need help.

Anyone who is interested in looking over the e-mail exchanges can find them at the following link.
It took a lot of time and effort to cut and paste them out. I have no more energy to place them here at the moment. For the time being, you can read them here. I also posted a detailed description of a time when Dave was involved in occult American Indian spirit summoning. That's when I believe he was actually posessed. He actually brought this evil into my own home a few years ago. If it wasn't for Jesus I would be in serious trouble also.

Here is the link, and thank you all in advance my friends.

Hi brother,

There is a difference between writing him off and separating yourself from it. Other than praying for him it appears that you have done all that you can. I am not saying not to be there for him if he decides to come around. Until then it might be best to let it go, but to be there for him if he changes his heart. That is what I will be praying for, a change of heart in him.

I just had a talk with another friend on this same subject. I will tell you basically what I did them. We can present the word of God to others but we cannot force them to accept it. If they turn a blind eye and a deaf ear then we are to shake the dust off our feet and go on to those that are willing to listen. This is hard to do and hurts quite deeply when they are friends or family but we must do as God says and let him finish his work. You have planted the seed, now it is God's place to determine if that seed will grow or wither away.

I will definitely be joining you in prayer though for your friend.

Hello Bronzesnake,

Brother John, I will definitely be praying for Dave. I would ask that we please add hosts of others who are also falling for the false cults and false religions. It's a horrible and dangerous time for the lost and the Babes in Christ. Confusion from the devil is everywhere, and the devil makes his snares look attractive and logical. YES!, many are being deceived.

Brother, I'm seeing more and more evidence that the devil is running loose and catching many people in his snares to devour. It seems like there is some sort of new and false cult popping up everywhere. Brothers and Sisters, this is a time to make sure that our family members and friends are built up in God's Word with a strong foundation in JESUS. We all need to remember that the Gospel of the Grace of God is simple enough for a child to understand and accept JESUS. Let's never forget that God's Word is more powerful than any two-edged sword.

Brother John, I understand the pain and disappointment about a friend who is hard to reach. I really think that the powerful Word of God is the only answer in such cases. We are also promised by God that His Word will never return void. When we've done the best we can to witness and we think it's a failure, I think that the next efforts should be the plain and simple Word of God. God will use it. See below for a sample of what I think is dynamite from God's Word:

GOOD NEWS!

1:  Romans 3:10 NASB  as it is written, "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE; THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS, THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS FOR GOD; ALL HAVE TURNED ASIDE, TOGETHER THEY HAVE BECOME USELESS; THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD, THERE IS NOT EVEN ONE."

2:  Romans 3:23  NASB  for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

3:  Romans 5:12  NASB  Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned--

4:  Rom 6:23  NASB  For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

5:  Romans 1:18  NASB  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

6:  Romans 3:20  NASB  because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.

7:  Romans 3:27  NASB  Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.

8:  Romans 5:8-9  NASB  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.

9:  Romans 2:4  NASB  Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?

10:  Romans 3:22  NASB  even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction;

11:  Romans 3:28  NASB  For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.

12:  Romans 10:9  NASB  that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

13:  Romans 4:21  NASB  and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.

14:  Romans 4:24 NASB  but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,

15:  Romans 5:1  NASB  Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

16:  Romans 10:10  NASB  for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

17:  Romans 10:13  NASB  for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."

Thanks be unto GOD for HIS unspeakable GIFT!, JESUS CHRIST, our Lord and Saviour forever!

Love in Christ,
Tom

2 Timothy 4:7-8 NASB  I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
