271  Theology / General Theology / Re: ULTRADISPENSATIONALISM: BIBLE TRUTH OR HERESY? on: May 12, 2008, 08:04:42 PM
I know that I take a very hard view in 1 Tim 1:4, and wanted to see what you would all say. I would ask some that are dispensation , than those that are Covenant theologians. I like Bro Jerry answer , as to when the Old Testament ended, because I still see Isreal or Jews keeping the Law in Acts 21:20   DAN P

273  Theology / Debate / Re: Acts 2:38 Baptism in Jesus Name on: May 07, 2008, 04:55:53 PM
To me I see , that in Acts 2:38 where Peter is accusing them of the murder of their Messiah. they repond with what shall we do ? What can they do , they killed him, and we can't bring him back. Peter than tells them to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins  ( for the murder ) and they will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. I say that only Jews can receive this baptism and that why it not used. But in Matt 28: 19 this baptism is to the world and has to be used with the Abrahamic Covenant, and this baptism will not be force ,because it is future.

I got some in put really fast. I did not write this and wanted to see what your input would be. I can not  answer for him, but his reference to hell , probably is taken from Eph 4: 9 There is some people who have written some articles , is God cnstrained in time ot some what similar , and wanted your reaction.
276  Theology / General Theology / Resurrection on: May 05, 2008, 03:05:14 PM
I wish I could Iwote thsi following article. Be it is very fascinating to me. 2 Peter 3:8  reads  But beloved be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years , and a thousand years as one day. When our Lord was in the grave for 3 days it was as 3000 yrs.He followed the sinful course of earth for 3000 yrs and He burned up the heaven and earth  ( the solar system ) by casting it into the lake of fire ( the sun ) ( Rev 20 : 10  to 21:1 )  Death and hell were cast therein , as also the Devil and his angels, for whom that lake of fire was prepared   ( Matt 25: 41 ).  Then , having abolished sin and having made the new heaven and earth , He arose the dat according to the scripture  ( 1 Cor 15: 1-4 )  The caution in 2 Peter 3:8 that we should not be ignorant, suggests literal interpretation. It does not mean God's time is unknowingly different from ours, or that God's does not exist with in time.  2 Peter 3:8 is about 3 dimensions, or domains, of time. A 1000 yrs are about 360,000 days.  Therefore the 3 domains of time are :  (1) 360,000 times faster than earths time   (2)  earths time   (3) 360,000 times slower than earths time.    1 Cor 15:3-4  I believe we can quote it, thus the riddle , How did Christ die foe our sins whe the penalty is death and eternal torment in hell ? is solved  !  He died in our place  and He went to hell in our place , for eternity !

277  Theology / General Theology / Re: THE FIG TREE on: May 05, 2008, 01:26:23 PM
I believe that the total of 3+ 1 = Christ ministry, but the leadership of Isreal , Pharisees and the Sadducees  rejected the baptism of John. In Matt 3: 8 when the Pharisees and Sadducees came to John's baptism's John rebuked them , and told them to bring therefore fruit meet for repentance, also look at v9. The Pharisees and Sadducees wanted to established their own righteousness.
278  Theology / General Theology / Re: THE FIG TREE on: May 03, 2008, 02:52:52 PM
This is literal. The fig tree is Israel.  Or your can say that the fig tree is the Pharisees and the Sadducee's and the vineyard is Israel. Here the Father is talking to Christ. But some is wrong with the tree, it is  :)not producing any fruit. Then the Father says to the Son , cut it down. v7  Three yrs have past with one year to go. v8 then answering the Father , let me dig around and dung it , but would Israel listen, NO.   Viv9  And if it bear fruit good, bur if it doesn't , then cut it down.  This is just another proof that Israel was judged at Acts 7 and sentence was carried out at Acts 28:28 when Titus came at 70 AD and took Israel captive.  Luke 13: 6-9 is the second book that speaks of Israel being set aside , and the other book is Rom 11. This shows why miracles, signs and wonder, baptism ,the Law is no longer in effect, and Israel has been set aside for almost 2000 yrs. God is not dealing with Israel today , and if more students of the word see that , we will see with more clarity

279  Theology / General Theology / THE FIG TREE on: May 01, 2008, 09:04:45 PM
In LUKE 13: 6-9 IS A VERY INTERESTING VERSES. Who are the 2 persons speaking, what do the three years represent, and the 1 yr represent, what does the fig tree represent,  and who is cut down, and can this be future ?
280  Theology / Debate / Re: The Rapture is after the Mark of the Beast on: April 30, 2008, 08:52:38 PM
If we look at Rev3:5 can you say as a brother in Christ , that v 5 is talking about the Body of Christ ? It is talking about overcomers , won't blot out our name from the book of life. I am now in the Body of Christ and not waiting to be and overcomer. Second all of the book of Rev has to do with Jacob trouble, and the being tested , and only those who are loyal to their Messiah , will enter into the Mellennium per Matt 24 :13, will have to endure to the end of the Tribulation, v14 and they are preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom. Rev 6: 9 is this the Body of Christ, v12 , does this remind you of Acts 2: 20 and the prophecy of Joel,  Rev 7: 4 144,000 Jews,  Rev 11: 8 is speaking of Jeruselem, and the whole book is Jewish. So I won't even give the first 3 CHAPTERS and that the church is seen there , because it is not.  There is one other  book that also speaks of the departure of the Body of Christ, and that is found in Gal 1:4 where the apostle Paul says we will be ( DELIVERED, RESCUED, OR PLUCK OUT ) depending on which word you want to use , means we will plucked out of this evil age.

281  Theology / Debate / Re: Baptism on: April 30, 2008, 08:20:44 PM
Would anyone on this tread believe in Apostlic Seccession ?  By that I mean the chose of Pope after Pope in seccession ? Most of you would say Idon't believe in Apostlic Seccession. If it is true  , that you don't in Apostle Seccession, THEN WHY DO BELIEVE IN APOSTLIC BAPTISMS?   You can't be against apostlic Popes than deny apostlic baptism. Remember that the Gospel was still going th Jews only per Acts 11: 19. And you have to notice that only Jews were being baptized and not Gentiles.  Probably some one will mention Cornelius, but I have and answer for that. Those that believe IN BAPTISM will have to answer the difference between the formula of Matt 28: 19 in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the formula used in Acts 2:38 where they are baptized IN THE NAME THE JESUS CHRIST, AND WHAT IS THE DIFFENENCE ?  The Matt 28 passage , they have to go to all the world to use , the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, WHERE in Acts 2:38 it is for the murder of their Messiah.

282  Theology / Debate / Re: what will we rule over? on: April 30, 2008, 05:59:16 PM
Could you say emphaticly who are the few in heaven ? And where do those who are christians , go when they die ?   Do you believe in soul sleep ? Please clarify ?
283  Theology / General Theology / Re: Question here.....again =) on: April 29, 2008, 07:35:08 PM
Where did God dwell before He made the heavens. I see jude v6 as a pllace where angels were before God made angels, their first estate. So if paradise , the same as the third heaven, is created and there are 4 heavens ?What can you say ?
284  Theology / General Theology / Re: ULTRADISPENSATIONALISM: BIBLE TRUTH OR HERESY? on: April 29, 2008, 03:50:39 PM
If anyone would pull out all Pauls letters, what do we have ? The Law, and Isreal. We would have the Oild Testament beginning in part of Genesis thru Acts , which is the Old Covenant, then when God begins dealing with Isreal , Hebs thru Revelation as the New Covenant. That how see by taking Paulks letters out. You put Pauls letters back and everyone goes bananas, then baptiism, healings, tongues, rapture, just to name a few make everything go upside down.
285  Theology / Debate / Re: Once Saved Always Saved??? on: April 28, 2008, 08:50:31 PM
Here is my short answer and if I have time I will answer Heb 6. Firist , the word in Greek is SOZO, IT IS IN THE PERFECT TENSE in Greek grammer. this verb has yo demensions to it , it is a combination of past action WITH a CONTINIUN PRESENT. This means when you were in the past , you are always in the present, Ihope I did't make it clear as mud, because we are always in the    present we are always saved. By the way it is in the indictative mood, whisch means THIS IS A FACT and you better believe it, but also in the passive voice, which means the HOLY SPIRIT  did a work in you and you could not do it. The short answer in Heb 6:4 you can't put Christ back on the cross and crucify Christ again , if you read v1 it sound like hereasy to say forsake the teaching of Christ ,v2 teaching of baptisms because those who baptized can't answer these verses.
