The only reason I know that some charismatics are Christians is that I was once a charismatic.

Thank the Lord I am no longer one.

Is the charismatic movement Christian?

The Charismatics are Christians in my opinion. They usaully have one or more gifts ofrom the Holy Spirit.
One side effect to this may be that some suffer from the sin of pride. The Bible tells us that not everyone will speak in tongues. (1Cor.12:30) There are no second class Christians, as the we are told in the Word, God is no respecter of persons.
I'm curious, why did you ask this question?

They just don’t know where to draw line. Reverence has gone down the crapper, not just in the Charismatic, but others as well. Fear of God? We have “No fear” stickers on our bibles! Let us do what gives us a fast emotional high and/or fills them pews, people! We Christians today just live in small little worlds the revolve about us.

The gifts of the Holy Spirit and what they are, can be found in (1Cor.12&14, Acts 2,8,10,19) You won't find holy laughter, barking, falling backwards or all of the other lunacy that went on in the Pensecola revival. That doesn't mean that people baptized in the Holy Spirit are on an emotional high. (Jn.1:32-33,) John gave this testimony "the man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is he who will baptize with the Holy Spirit." This occured at Pentecost. Acts 1 and 2

True Charismatics follow the scriptures, not lunacy. Yes, they are Christians, if they weren't? God doesn't give his gifts to unbelievers and pagans.

God bless,
bluelake.
