So guys.. just a quick bit of history ...cause I don't like dwelling on the past or negativity... I am a recently divorced Pastor's wife of 17 yrs in the Ghetto of Philadelphia... when I say ghetto ... I mean ghetto... I have some stories I could tell...but I would just like to testify of the keeping power of my Jesus for how he has brought me thru this storm that I still face on a daily basis as a result of my divorce... I thank God for keeping his hand on the saints... They belong to him anyways... There was a day that I never thought I would see light again because of the terrible darkness that surrounded my life... I sure am enjoying dancing int he the mudpuddles and stay well stocked with gum rubbers... and the rain on my face has become refreshing as I feel God's hand wiping it away... I love Him... He is the lifter of my head... Let's just hope it doesn't start raining turkeys now... I've just learned how to deal with the water...

Amen our Lord can get us through the toughest of times.

Speaking of turkey, I think it's time for a turkey sandwich.

When I was with the Arizona Rangers, thats about what I looked liked.

They have both posted their pictures on the forum. Pastor Roger's is in Coffee Time and so is that picture of me. Blackeyedpeas is in Jail I believe.

Arizona Rangers is..?

I'll make it a little easier than searching through that big thread. This is me two years ago. The first person to hold both of my twin grandkids at the same time.

Though I am no longer a Ranger. Here is some history about the Rangers yesterday and now.

The rapid spread of civilization through the Southwest in the early 1900's made it increasingly difficult for the outlaw to accomplish his crimes in the first place and then to escape detection and apprehension.
 
While some of the criminals continued to operate as lone wolves and others work in bands, certain isolated areas of the Southwest - by reason of their location - tended to become gathering points for outlaws. Frequently there was a sort of loose organization among those who gathered in a given area and sometimes the organizational setup became so well formed as to constitute a gang.
 
It was for the purpose of ridding Arizona of such individual criminals and criminal gangs that the Arizona Rangers were created. Their objectives were to hunt down and capture the lone wolves and members of the gangs, to clear the areas in which criminals congregated and make them safe for settlement by law abiding citizens and to discourage the riffraff of the rest of the country to seek refuse in Arizona.

And now...........
 
The Rangers also acted as a state police force to help enforce law when local authority was overtaxed. And they supplemented the activities of the then inadequate United States Border patrol.

All Arizona Rangers are trained to be "first responders" at accident scenes, (with or without HAZMAT implications), or to assist involved law enforcement or Emergency Medical Services personnel, as required.

Arizona Rangers are, at a minimum, expected to possess the skills necessary to protect the public, while maintaining order at public and private events. Operating in pairs, Arizona Rangers must be keenly trained in self-defense and in enforcing city ordinances, or the rules and regulations of its community customers.

We are trained in Firearms Safety, Traffic Control, First-Aid, CPR, OC (Pepper) Spray, Handcuffing, Radio Procedures, Arizona Rangers Ethics, Weapons Retention, Report Writing, and a variety of other basic and advanced subject areas.

Increasingly, Arizona Rangers are required to assist resource-poor law enforcement agencies. Therefore, in addition to our normal training in security, traffic and crowd control, "street survival," and marksmanship, we have acquired advanced training in areas such as High-Risk Vehicle Stops, Clandestine Drug Laboratories, weapons use, and use of the collapsible baton.

Community Service
Chartered for public service, particularly for our children. the Arizona Rangers are often deployed in community or private events.    

Show Low Police Department Assists
Called out by SLPD Dispatch personnel, or by police supervisors, the Arizona Rangers are frequently called on to "stretch" the manpower of the police department.    

NCSO Special Operations
Frequently deployed under the auspices of the CCSO Special Operations Division, the Arizona Rangers assist Sheriff's Deputies in the performance of various duties    

DUI Task Force
Commanded by the Navajo County Sheriff's Office, the Eastern Arizona DUI Task Force is comprised of all local police agencies, the Arizona DPS, and the Arizona Rangers

Search and Rescue
Few of the Arizona Ranger are trained for search and rescue, I was one of the few.

so Pastor R, how are you feeling physically after all your work and fun this week?? flaring up? hope not!!

Actually I am feeling better now. Thank you for asking. I am getting over the trip I took to my sons boot camp graduation. Now that took it out of me. It seems to take awhile before my overdoing it catches up to me. After that trip I was home several days before it hit me.

Oh wonderful.. im glad to ehar your feeling better.. know.. I have about a days grace.. if i over do it.. the next day i hurt.. and I can feel it coming.. but the following day after that,,. woohoo looky looky, major flare up!! But ya deal and do what ya have to , to get thru!!

I hope DW is ok,.. he mentioned the flare up and now he's gone!!...my heart goes out to others ,, knowing what they go thru..

It is difficult to understand what a person goes through like this unless you are experiencing a similar thing. My wife has had lupus, FMS and osteo-arthritis for many years. I tried to be understanding and compassionate all along but I didn't fully understand until the GWI hit me and then after having an open heart operation it really hit me. Then I came to fully understand what she was going through.

I lost power to the house, si dropped off line.

Yep.. its not an easy thing to understand cause for the most part. the person looks healthy.. and most times can even walk straight, so its hard to tell that teh person is really in the pain and such that they are in..
 sorry to hear your wife has such health issues as well.. your quite a pair lol.. ;)

I haven't lost any pictures, but my web site is down since I changed Internet Service Providers. I have all of the pictures somewhere and just have to find them all and organize them. I also got rid of Windows completely, so I've had to find replacement programs in Linux. I just found one to handle my graphics, and I'm entering the information for it now. I'm also working on a new web page that I hope to start putting up soon.

I do have a baby picture of Dreamweaver.

Brother Bob, I'll be sending up some extra prayers for you. I'm sorry to hear that you're having such a hard time. Try some rest and please do what the doctor tells you to do. This of course would deal only with reasonable instructions. As an example, if he tells you to go sit in some cactus, you should refuse unless you like that sort of thing.   ;)

Reference Dreamweaver, he said something recently about needing some surgery on his neck, so that might be what it is. He's already in my prayers, so I'll just add a few.

I was just chuckling some about needing a body transplant, but GOD has already promised to give us one. HE will give us a Glorified Body at HIS appointed time, and there won't be any more pain or sorrow. The way things look in this world, that time might be soon. Today would be a great day for the RAPTURE!

I just mentioned some old comedy shows in another thread, but I forgot all about the Keystone Cops. They were of the silent film variety, but they were hilarious.  I can't remember if I got to see the Abbott and Costello episode with the Keystone Cops. It's amazing how funny the old stuff was, and everything was completely clean. I haven't seen any Keystone Cops in over 50 years. The ones I remember involved car chases that made you laugh until your sides hurt. I'll imagine that there's some young people here who haven't even heard of the Keystone Cops. And, they're probably thinking to themselves, "What is that old guy talking about now?"

Yeah!  I remember going to the Saturday Matinee and getting cartoons and 2 movies!  John Wayne,  etc etc.  One of my favorites was Dick Van Dyke in Ensign Caruso (sp?)  Just good clean fun.  And even if someone did get killed like in a war movie or western, you didn't have to see all the gore.  And I especially liked the days of "no gratuitous cleavage"!!  Button it up Baby!  Nobody goes to work lookin' like that and is taken seriously.  Out for a drink after work, maybe.

Well, for a gal that's not feeling real well today; I sure have got a lot done!  I took a bunch of CD's that I haven't listened to in ages, some books and some old VHS tapes to the bargin book store and got a few bucks.  While I was there I came across The New Testament on tape!  I am so excited because I make a lot of my gifts for Christmas and now I can listen to the Word while I'm doing it!  Whoopie!

I've also been simmering a large kettle of homemade Turkey Vegtable Noodle Soup and I'm fixin' to see if it kills me!  If I'm not back shortly just know that I'm putting in a good word for you all in Heaven!   ;D ;D

To remind you about what you asked about, you asked about a picture of a baby blowing raspberries and where I found it. Would you believe it if I told you I had it in a folder labeled "Dreamweaver's Baby Pictures"? I don't think that you will, so I'll just tell you that I found it in a jumbled up mess of 10,000 graphics.   ;D

Besides that, I'm confused. One minute I'm a turkey and the next minute I'm a penguin. BUT, remember it was a group we were talking about - "The Mod Squad". So, we're either all turkeys or penguins. Right now, turkeys are an endangered species. If we're going to be turkeys, I suggest that we wear a disguise and change our voices before we find ourselves slow-cooking in an oven. We would be safe as penguins because they don't taste good.   ;D

I LOVE homemade pot pie!  I was actually thinking of that while I was cooking my soup yesterday!  Since I made such a huge pot of it, I will have enough later in the week to thicken up and I'll make me one of those delicacies!

Please keep my son in prayer... He collapsed today and ended up in the hosp[ital... no answer as of yer... He is in Texas and I am here in Canada.. makes it really hard...  It's nice to have all you christian folks to rely on for prayer right now..

No, I haven't heard from either of them yet. If they are able to come on it will probably be a little later as that is pretty normal for a Sunday. I understand the pain you are going through today. It gets especially bad when the weather turns as it is today. It's shifting back and forth between rain and snow.

Good Morning Sister Michelle and All!

I appreciate the thoughts and prayers. I was able to eat last night about 2 in the morning.   :D  Yes, I know that's a strange time to eat, but my body clock is in a mess anyway from 25 years of shift work.

I think that I'm on the mend. I plan to stay out of the cold and take care of myself. Maybe I didn't dress warm enough for Thanksgiving, and I did go outside with the kids for a while. Regardless, it was still a wonderful day in the LORD.

This is my wonderful son Colten... God has touched him and I know that he is going to walk on in faith claiming complete healing from whatever caused his seizure... This is something that he has never had before and definately not something God wants to plague his child... Colten belongs to God and Satan has no rights concerning   him or no say in his direction in life... He will study Law and nothing will come between him and his goals as he walks in the footsteps of Christ... In Jesus Name... God is Good!!! His stripes he bore were not in vain... He died for Colten's healing... and also for yours Michelle, Tom and Roger... WE just have to claim it and speak it as though it were... I believe it...
