I must share this story as posted in Walking in God`s Garden, it is awesome!

  "NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD"

At the end of World War II, a little widow woman would stand everyday
on her front porch, looking longingly down the country road that led
to her home.  She was waiting and looking for her only son to come home
from the war.  She had raised her boy in a Christian home and in the
ways of the Lord.  As he grew into his teen years, he rebelled against
his mother and against her God.  He began drinking, cussing, and living
in sin.  When the war came, he joined the Navy and continued in a life
of sin.  Throughout his life and throughout the war, his mother had faith-
fully prayed for her boy.  She had not heard from him in many years, and
now that the war was ended she was expecting God to bring her son down
that old country road as a new creature in Christ Jesus.

One day as Mother stood on the front porch, looking down the road, her
heart suddenly leaped. She saw a figure of a man off in the distance, and
he was walking down that dusty road toward her home.  As he drew nearer,
she saw that he was wearing a sailor's uniform !

Mother hurriedly started down the road to meet her boy; but disappointment
flooded her heart when, as he drew closer, she saw that this young man in
the sailor uniform was not her son but rather a total stranger.

The stranger introduced himself to her and very haltingly and hesitantly
said--- "Ma'am, I was on a ship at sea with your son....Our ship was sunk
by enemy torpedoes, and out of 150 men aboard, only 20 of us survived....
I've come to give you the news..... Ma'am, I am very sorry....."

Mother's heart was now breaking into a million pieces; she stood there,
on that old country road, head bowed, trembling and weeping profusely.
Finally, she gathered her thoughts together enough to ask the young
sailor into her home for tea.  Once inside her home, she asked---"Did you
see my son die ? "

The sailor was very reluctant to answer. Finally, with downcast eyes, he
said--- "Yes, I saw him till the very end, when he finally went under the
  waves."

Mother asked again,  "Did you hear my boy call upon God ? "

The sailor answered,  "I heard him cursing God, and blaspheming His name,
as the waves took him under."

Again, tears filled Mother's eyes as she stood trembling.  After a few
moments of silence, Mother looked the young sailor in the eyes and said---
"Then I believe the Lord met my boy under the waves. Nothing is impossible
with God.  I have faithfully prayed for my son's salvation, and my God is
faithful, so I choose to believe that my God met my boy under the waves."

That little, widowed, sonless mother went on all alone, cheerfully serving
her Lord and Saviour.  She always had a smile and a kind word for anybody
and everybody in the little village where she lived.  Six months had passed
since the news came of her son's death.  One day as Mother sat----so all
alone---in her little cottage, there suddenly came a knock at the front door.

Who could ever describe the emotions that flooded Mother's heart and mind
as she answered the door and saw her beloved, only son, standing before her
very eyes !  He scooped his little mother up into his strong arms and carried
her into the house.  As all the emotions and tears subsided, he confirmed to
his mother the exact story the stranger in the sailor's uniform told her six
  months earlier.

Mother exclaimed---"But, son, I don't understand !  How do you stand hear
in our home alive and well ?! "

He answered---"Mother, I went under the waves cursing God and blaspheming
His holy name, BUT, MOTHER, GOD MET ME UNDER THE WAVES ! "

Mother was now visibly shaken and again burst into tears as she realized
her son had just spoken the very exact words that she said to the sailor
  six months earlier---

"I believe God met my boy under the waves..."

He continued,  "Mother, I went under those waves cursing God.  Once under
the waves, my whole life passed before me.  I saw everything wicked that I
had ever done.  I saw how much I had hurt you and broken your heart.  Out
of the depths of the sea, I cried out in my heart, ---- 'Oh, God, forgive
me ! ! ! '  Here I am, Mamma, and Oh, how I praise Him that I am a new
creature in Christ Jesus !!! "

"But, son, how did the Lord spare your life physically ?!  You were
drowning in the midst of the sea ! "  exclaimed Mother.

"Mother", he said, "Strength filled my entire body---supernatural strength.
I don't know how, but I found myself at the surface of the ocean.  I began
to swim and swim and swim.  Finally, I reached an island where the people
of that island took me in and nursed me, for these many months, back to
health.  Here I am, Mamma !  I love Jesus, and I love you !!! "

Dear Reader, I remind you of the words of this faith filled mother, the
title of this message, and more importantly, the very WORD OF GOD----

  "NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD"

"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything to hard
   for Me ? " ----Jeremiah 32:27

"No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised..."
                                                          Romans 4:20-1

Yes.  God can do anything and to think differently is doubting him and his word.  People have said to me,  Well God just won't do that and I say  He can do what he wants to, He is God and I am not.  People tend to try to put God in a box but there isn't one big enough or strong enough.  That is not the image we should have of him but rather we should realize he is able to do more than we ask or imagine!  Faith is what we need more of all the time!!!!!!
