I can certainly relate to this! Due to a history of pregnancy complications (1 miscarriage, 1 ectopic pregnancy, 1 stillbirth) my doctor was extremely cautious during my fourth pregnancy. He suggested amnio at four months to determine if my baby had any abnormalities such as Downs Syndrome. I told him I did not want the procedure, because I wouldn't terminate the pregnancy and would accept whatever the Lord gave me. A few days later, I began to have vivid recurring nightmares. I would dream the baby did in fact have Downs Syndome, or sometimes I would dream the baby had an enormous head or missing limbs. Of course, it was nothing but futile attempts by Satan to weaken my faith.
To my surprise and dismay, I went into labor six weeks early. My doctor had to perform an emergency c-section because my baby was in distress. It was later discovered that there were three knots in the umbilical cord. (?) My baby was not breathing when he was born and they had to call for a code team to revive him. Talk about drama in the delivery room.
In spite of being six weeks premature, he weighed 5 lbs. 2 oz. and was healthy and normal. The fact that he was born exactly five years to the day from his brother (stillborn), made it even more special. My son is now 15, and I still look at him and marvel at how the Lord has blessed me. What a mighty God we serve!

I will keep you in my prayers, as well as your wife, mother and unborn child. You certainly have the right attitude, which is a testimony of the enduring power of our Lord.

It is not surprising she didn't want the media present. What is surprising, is that she believed it would not be exposed. It will be interesting to see how she manages to overcome this. Obviously, she and other politicians have no problem compromising their principles to garner votes, and are completely ignoring the Christians. We must show up at the polls and make our voices heard. Otherwise, we will continue to watch as our country falls further into moral decay.

Pastor Roger, you are correct. That is precisely the reason I am no longer involved with another Christian site. I really enjoyed the fellowship, but there could be no political discussions or discussions that the admin considered controversial. I posted a thread to discuss the ridiculous claims being made regarding the so-called family grave of Jesus. The thread was immediately closed and I was admonished to "read the Bible, not listen to newscasters." Later, the admin added a comment that the thread could remain (albeit closed) as a reminder of how ridiculous the world is. We may not be "of this world," but we are still "in this world" and accordingly, we must deal with situations that impact us not only as Christians, but as human beings. When we discuss issues facing our world on Christian websites, we must also realize that some who visit these sites are not Christians and may be seeking the truth. If we avoid discussing subjects such as the claim that is being made about Jesus, I fail to understand how we are truly helping people who may be lost and in search of the true Word of God. Avoiding a subject does not make it disappear. As Christians, we must constantly dispel lies intended to discredit the Bible and our Lord. Thankfully, ChristiansUnite provides a forum for these topics to be discussed.

This entire case is a travesty. The border patrol agents were simply doing their jobs to protect this country. Considering the amount of drugs the illegal alien was in possession of, the agents deserve medals, not prison sentences. It's an outrage that only 4 Democrats in Congress have joined the Republicans in opposition to the conviction and imprisonment of these men. They need to realize that the results of the November elections was not a mandate for amnesty for illegal aliens, nor an open door for Mexican drug cartels.

Amen, Pastor Roger. We must stand up for Jesus. He is the only way. They may remove Him from whatever they wish, but they will never remove Him from the hearts of true believers. They cannot control the minds of those who truly trust in the Lord, nor can they alter the Spirit of the One and Only God.

Regardless of how they try to misinterpret the Bible to further their agenda, it clearly states that God considers homosexuality an abomination. It would not surprise me in the least if they eventually try to outlaw the Bible by classifying it as a "hate vehicle." Yes, we are indeed living in a country on the brink of destruction. We must all stay in prayer.
Lev. 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Pastor Roger, you are absolutely right. Our nation was founded on Christianity, and for many years, in spite of numerous injustices (slavery for one), was very much a Christian nation. Unfortunately, God has been systematically removed and/or diminished by our government who has bowed to atheists and anti-Christian special interest groups. The prohibition of school prayer, is a primary reason I have paid to send my teenage son to a Christian school since he was in kindergarten. I do not want my child to be in an environment where God is not welcome.

Clearly, the ACLU is the most anti-American organization in this country. I simply don't understand why the citizens tolerate them. Anything the ACLU espouses, I vehemently oppose. I just wonder how many foreign government payrolls they are on. When you look up treason in the dictionary, ACLU should appear. Thank you so much for all of your informative threads.
