We will always learn something from each other. This is one of the purposes of a Christian Fellowship. Again, I thank all who have sounded off to my question. To be nice, I changed my sigline to the KJV (original)Format.

Exodus 21:23-25
"23 But if injury ensues, you shall give life for life, 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe."
2 Corinthians 5:1
"For we know that if our earthly dwelling, a tent, should be destroyed, we have a building from God, a dwelling not made with hands, eternal in heaven. "

"What is "Macc"? " 1 Maccabees from the NAB (Or any other Catholic Bible). I was raised on the NAB, and after switching to Protestantism, my Pastor urged me not to change versions. So we basically use many different translations in our Bible Studies. Non-Protestant Bibles have retained 7 additional books including the Book Of Sirach in the Old Testament known as Dueteroconical by Catholics, or Apocrypha to Protestants. The KJV as originally published in 1611 had these books as well, but they were finally removed in the 19th Century.

Yes I do believe Jesus Christ is God in the Flesh. He is the only way to God's kingdom.
That Bible quote was from my sigline. Since we are at war, and some Muslims speak a friendly speech to us at times, I saw this Scripture fitting. The KJV ONLY people I refer to are the ones that try to constantly lecture you about what version of the Bible that they use to a point of ad nauseum. For some reason, they think God inspired a group of scholars from Cambrige and Oxford Universities in 1611 to come out with "the" English translation. To me, they worship the book, not the Lord, and are therefore a cult. These people are not to be confused, however, with honest folk who use the KJV out of personal preference, and will not disrupt a Church Fellowship over the issue.
Finally, that passage from another thread was from the NAB (New American Bible), Book of Sirach. If you have a copy of a KJV Bible made in America before 1885, you will find the Book of Sirach there as well. Sirach was one of the book Catholics refer to as Deuteroconical. Protestants call those books the Apocrypha.

1 Macc 2:51
"51 Remember the deeds that our fathers did in their times, and you shall win great glory and an everlasting name. "
And Psalm 23 (KJV), which I read before each duty shift.
1: The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2: He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3: He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4: Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5: Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
And of course every Christian's favorite:
John 3:16
"16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.

I am talking about Bible versions. I have had a run in with a few unofficial members of the KJV Only cult, and am asking the average Christian here, does it matter what version of the Holy Bible you use? My Preacher and 99.9% of the congregation of my Church does not mind at all that I use the NAB.
