Title: It's Okay
Post by: Forrest on May 07, 2003, 08:04:45 PM
     It's Okay
Surrounded by friends and love ones
You often feel alone and betrayed by some
It's okay I felt the same way
On calvary that day

If you go to the cupboards to feed your child
And find it scarce and near empty
It's ok I fed the multitude
With just one child's lunch

It's time to pay bills you're in too deep
They're coming to take your home
It's okay I'll show you the way
I walked on water against the sway

You're best friends dying
Of some unknown disease
It okay I raised the Dead
You think this is too much for me

So cheer up my child when days are blue
Loved ones have left
It okay I've gone before you
To prepare your home
for rest thru eternity
Love, Jesus

So cheer up my child when days are blue
Loved ones have left
It okay I've gone before you
To prepare your home
for rest thru eternity
Love, Jesus

And Amen

Hello LadyLeiara,

I see that you are new, so WELCOME! I sincerely hope that you enjoy Christians Unite. It's nice to have the author of that beautiful poem with us.

I really don't know when Forrest will answer your post. Forrest got married a few months ago, and we haven't heard from him since.  :D  He said that he would be gone for awhile, but it appears that the honeymoon is much longer than anyone thought.

Love In Christ,
Tom

LadyLeiara,

I last heard from Forrest by email, and he seemed extremely happy. He talked about finding a home and establishing a residence for his new bride and himself. It might be dangerous to send out a search party for him.  :D

We do have quite a few people on the forum who enjoy poetry, so I hope that you might consider sharing another one with us. We also have a large number of sweet Christians here who are fun to fellowship with. I think that our range of ages might be 8 to 75. We have lots of grandparents, including me, and we also have a group of really sharp young people and young adults. In short, we have a good mixture of folks, and the vast majority of us get along real well.

I really hope that you decide to stay with us. I look forward to reading your posts and having Christian fellowship with you.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Colossians 1:9-12 NASB  For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.
