286  Theology / Debate / Re: The Rapture....does it matter to me? on: April 28, 2008, 08:22:40 PM
I believe that Paul says in 2 Tim 4: 8 that we get a crown unto those who love his appearing, so it is very important. Inoticed that some one posted some of rapture verses, but there and other one in Gal 1:4 that speaks of the rapture. The word is EXAIREO which can be translated , deliver, rescue, and to PLUCK OUT, out of this evil age.
287  Theology / Debate / Re: what denomination are you? on: April 28, 2008, 07:55:05 PM
Most would call me a ulta-dispensationist, but I refer to myself a Pauline dispensationist per 1 Tim 1;4 WHICH SAYS  ; last part of v4 reads ; rather than godly edifying , whiich is in faith.  The word edifying is not in the Greek text and should read ; neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies which minister questions , rather than Gods dispensation which is in faith. We should examine to see if we are in the faith, so to be Pauline we should be dispensatioists, this does.'t mean that you are not saved if you are not dispensational.
288  Theology / Debate / Re: Acts 2:38 Baptism in Jesus Name on: April 28, 2008, 07:40:26 PM
I see serveral reason why Acts 2:38 is not used for today. One it is a Jewish Feast, Peter in his Pentecost address is acussing those present of the murder of their Messiah. Then they say what shall we do ? The question is , do about what ? We killed Him , and that blood is on our hands. Peter than tells them to repent and be baptized, and please notice , it is only Jews who are baptized.    BUT Matt 28: 19 is very different answer. The formula is to be used to the whole world, and IS PART OF THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANT.
289  Theology / Debate / Re: The "GRACE" Movement (Hot Potato!) on: April 28, 2008, 07:27:14 PM
Thanks for your reply,. I had the pleasure of meeting Paul Sadler in Calif , at funeral of Pastor Bob Hanna, and a very good talk with him.
290  Theology / General Theology / Re: ULTRADISPENSATIONALISM: BIBLE TRUTH OR HERESY? on: April 25, 2008, 06:23:48 PM
1 Tim 1: 4 , is how I define dispensation. The last part of the verse  , the word edifying is not in the Greek text. The verse should read ; neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than God's dispensation which is in faith. Does't that mean that to be in the faith you have a Pauline DISPENSATIONISTS, period. Yes it does.
291  Theology / Debate / Re: Acts 2:38 Baptism in Jesus Name on: April 24, 2008, 09:31:03 PM
If we look at the context , it is not about salvation . In v36 Peter is accusing them crucifiying , both Lord and Christ. Then in v37 his hearers were pricked in there hearts and ask Peter  what shall we do ? Do about what ? we killed Him , and we can bring Him back from the dead ? Peter says REPENT  ( repent of what  , THE murder of Christ ) then Peter tells them tobe baptized, and to me , this Not salvation , but repentance of Christ murder.
292  Theology / Debate / Re: The "GRACE" Movement (Hot Potato!) on: April 24, 2008, 09:00:29 PM
I to believe that the Body of Christ is very important today. As you said about labels , they can be very confusing and I can see from some the replies , that , there are some misconception, but I am ACTS 9, PER-MIL. PER-TRI, and I see some of the Berean Bible Society name here , which I do support.
293  Theology / Debate / Re: The "GRACE" Movement (Hot Potato!) on: April 19, 2008, 08:28:27 PM
I am at this present time in THE GRACE MOVEMENT.  As you know , there is division with it walls. We have those that are Acts 9, or Acts 13, and there isn't much argument concerning those 2 positions , where the body of Christ began. Some are 12 in , and I am not, some believe that Body of Christ is the Bride, I am not, some believe that Rom 1:2 means that the mystery can be found in the Old testament, but they don't understand relative pronouns in the Greek in v2. I sure don't where you get that , that we don't believe in faith. Just like any movement we have some wakoos , those that when to universal reconciliation in FL. OR THOSE WHO REFUSE TO TEACH the dispensation of the mystery as Paul taught.

295  Theology / Debate / Re: what denomination are you? on: April 19, 2008, 07:52:18 PM
I am with the body of Christ , but consider my self an dispensationalist, Acts 9, per-mil , per-tri and  align myself with people like C R Stam.
296  Theology / Debate / Re: Tithing - Top 10 reasons I don't on: April 19, 2008, 07:29:02 PM
I believe that Phoenix means , that tithing is a requirement under the Law and that if   you didn't tithe , you were stealing from God. Paul does tell us about grace giving in his letters, and believe that the Law didn't end until Acts 28 , because they were still keeping the Law in Acts 20: 21.
297  Theology / Debate / Re: Who is born again? on: April 19, 2008, 06:55:08 PM
Just asking , because I am knew here, my question is , the words  " born again " taken from John 3:3 or are we using 2 Cor 5: 17 , that we are a new creature in Christ ?
