hehe.  very funny.   ::)

'smatter a fact, I DO remember it.   8)

leastways brudda Andrew and the Soviet guard ignoring the bibles when they easily could be seen right there in the suitcase.

Am I right?

    ;D

too bad now that's how it is if you want to take a bible into a public school - here in 'merica!

Or maybe it's spelled 'merika.

I read the book a few years ago...my favorite part is where Andrew and another Christian met in a dark alley, and their spirits recognized one another when their eyes couldn't...

Yup, Symphony! That's the one!  :D

I wonder how long it will be until we in 'Merika have to illegally smuggle in Bibles?  :-\

I like that part, too, Willowbirch! And so many more! I have many favorite parts!  :D

We had some financial issues recently that we turned over to God and He, of course, handled them in His way.  :D
But that is why one of my favorite quotes from the book is:

"I had discovered that when God supplied money He did it in a kingly manner, and not in some groveling way."

Hmmmm

Yes.  Financial issues.

Hmm.

Now THERE is a topic.

Maybe under  You Name It.

Why is it I examine my financial situation, THEN I decide whether I need to pray about it or not.

Or, in other words, what are "finances" in the first place, anyway?

Could "finances" be just a reflection, in the tangible, real physical world, of what already is in--or not in--my mind, anyway.

Or, in other words, are finances the purest tangible form, of what in the first place is emotional, mental, spiritual or invisible, anyway?

My emotional state--which is basically only one of two ways:  Either faith-ful, or faith-less?

So the basis of life is only simply one of two ways--and both are only mental(not physical):  Mentally we are either faith'ful, or

faith'less??

Is that a fair assessment?
