I never would have gotten it with that. I use only the King James, which reads "For this cause I bow to my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

I am seeing that the nlt isn't very good. Therefore I am going to use kjv. A new puzzle will start soon.

That's not a problem, brother. I was planning on sitting out completely on the final answer on the next few so as to give others the opportunity to answer them.

I have to admit that I do have a special knack of being able to see words with only the vowels showing whereas most people don't see words until a few non-vowels are visible. So it may not be totally appropriate to have the other mods sit out either.

I think that we have several folks out of pocket with illness. I've had a cold or some sort of crud, and I thought it was turning into pneumonia once. SO, I've tried very hard to take care of myself and get over this. I might be some better, but I'm not going to take any chances.

Don't get discouraged, brother. These games are an excellent idea and even if it takes awhile for others to join in or respond it will still be worth the while.

I was afraid there for a minute that there wasn't any of my letter. Regardless, I'm waiting to see the little gallows and noose. After all, this is hangman. Most of the folks here are so picky that they will want a new rope.   ;D

Please don't get a noose just for me. Besides, I really don't want to be hung.

I remember playing hangman as a kid, and we drew our own gallows. We drew pieces of a stick man when we got a wrong guess, and a completed stick man meant that we were hung. So far, I don't think that anyone has guessed enough wrong letters to be hung. If you do wind up needing one, just holler and I'll imagine that we can come up with something.   ;D

It would be easy to draw some up and with a new rope, too.

Rub it in. I don't have a clue yet. Now that I think about this, we might be better off without that rope. Crowds sometimes get ugly and just hang someone without a reason.   ;D

By the way, I've been using the NLT some recently and think it's a beautiful translation. My son-in-law gave me an NLT Bible with large fonts, and I also have one for use on the computer. I was just giving thanks for the wealth of Godly materials I have to use every day, especially GOD'S WORD.
